·     Sunday, 10/11/2020 10AM-3PM – #JackieLaceyMustGo Neighborhood Walk in the Antelope Valley – This Sunday and every Sunday until Election Day we will be walking neighborhoods and informing folks about why #JackieLaceyMustGo. This week we’ll be in the Antelope Valley with the family of #MichaelThomas, killed in June by LA County Sheriffs. Bus leaves from the Crenshaw District at 10AM and returns no later than 3pm, or meet us at 1884 E. Ave. J in Lancaster at 11AM (near Spudnuts parking lot). *Sponsored by WP4BL. ·     Sunday, 10/11/2020 at 7PM – BLMLA General Meeting at Normandie Church of Christ, 6300 Normandie Ave., Los Angeles – Join us as we discuss the elections, what’s at stake, #JackieLaceyMustGo, and important ballot measures. As always, the meeting is open to ALL Black folks, non-Black allies/accomplices, families, elders, youth, new folks, and returning members/supporters. Light dinner provided along with free produce bags courtesy of Vegan Outreach. ASL interpretation provided by Pro Bono Interpreters. Donations are welcome, but not required. Closed to law enforcement, media, elected officials and their staff, and haters.

·     Wednesday, 10/14/2020 at 3PM – #JackieLaceyMustGo Demonstration and March to the Polls, meet at Hall of (In)Justice, 211 W. Temple, DTLA – Bring your ballot and wear your walking shoes! We’ll rally with the families, lifting up the names and Spirits of the 622 people killed by police on DA Jackie Lacey’s watch. Lacey refuses to prosecute the police who kill our people in just about every case! For more on why she must go, visit jackielaceymustgo.org. Together, we’ll take a short walk to a ballot drop off location and VOTE HER OUT!

·     Thursday, 10/15/2020 at 7PM – This Is Not a Drill! on facebook.com/blmla “Yes on J” – Continuing our voter education series with a discussion of Measure J, which will create a permanent funding stream of at least $500 million for the County resources that actually build safe and healthy communities, like mental healthcare, housing, and good jobs. Invited guests: Pete White (LACAN), Pastor Eddie Anderson (LA Voice), and Isaac Bryan (UCLA). Our own Sister Melina will host.

·     Saturday, 10/17/2020 10AM – #BlackLivesMatter #JackieLaceyMustGo Phonebank with WP4BL – Phone Bank this Saturday and every Saturday until election day to get District Attorney Jackie Lacey OUT!
