  • TUESDAY, 6/6/2023 at 9:30AM – Los Angeles Police Commission Meeting IN PERSON at LAPD HQ 100 W. 1st St. – Come out IN PERSON and demand that the so-called oversight body of the LAPD actually hold killer cops accountable! Make your voice heard during public comment and demand Chief Michel Moore’s resignation and #DefundThePolice. Coalition talking points here. 

  • WEDNESDAY, 6/7/2023 at 4PM – #EndPoliceAssociations Rally at 1313 W. 8th St. – Bring your voices, energy, and commitment to building a just and free world, where police associations no longer have control over public safety policy. Wear a mask! Snacks and water provided. This week, we will also be celebrating Prince’s Birthday - wear purple! Streamed live on Instagram at @blmlosangeles. 

  • SATURDAY, 6/10/2023 8-10AM – This Is Not a Drill! on KBLA Talk 1580AM or facebook.com/BLMLA – Topic and guests to come. Hosted by our own Joseph Williams. 

  • SUNDAY, 6/11/2023 at 7 PM - BLMLA Monthly Organizing Meeting at the Center for Black Power, 3423 W. 43rd Pl. – Let’s come together to organize for justice and to make #BlackLivesMatter! Open to families, youth, elders, ALL Black people, non-Black allies, returning and new folks. Closed to cops, media, and elected officials. Dinner and grocery bags provided. Donations welcome, but not required.

  • Saturday, July 15, 2023 - Black Lives Matter Turns 10! Shutting it all the way down in AfricaTown (Leimert Park) as we celebrate 10 years of Black Lives Matter. Let’s mark this milestone! Save the date!
