BREAKING: Husband of District Attorney Charged For Gun Crime

According to Politico, since Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey — who has been called “the nation’s most corrupt district attorney” by some parties — has again shirked the responsibility of her office, the state district attorney has stepped in and charged Lacey’s husband David with three misdemeanor counts of assault with a firearm regarding a March 2 incident where he pointed a pistol at unarmed Black Lives Matter Los Angeles protesters.

When reached for comment, Jackie Lacey’s office was characteristically silent on the matter.

Due in part to Jackie Lacey’s Seven Deadly Sins, she has been the target of more than two years of sustained protest against her office’s racist policies. Between her husband’s criminal charges and failing to gain a mandate in the election, meaning a November showdown with a competitor who has many of her old endorsements, the beleaguered district attorney is running out of places to hide from the consequences of her criminal negligence.
