Say Her Name! Wakiesha Wilson Gathering & Press Conference 2PM 3/28/25

Nine years after her murder, we now have legislation introduced at state and federal levels in the name of Wakiesha Wilson, whose family found out about her death days after its occurrence after she was arrested.

The proposed “Wakiesha’s Law” would require family notification when people are harmed or killed in police custody.

Stand with the family of Wakiesha Wilson this Friday in front of the LAPD Metro Detention Center as we demand justice in her name!
