Recap

  • Last Wednesday at the weekly #EndPoliceAssociations rally, we focused on the righteousness and victory of our struggle. We will win an end to police associations!

  • Thank you to everyone who called in to get our justice families and aligned activists out of jail in Akron. As Bianca Austin (aunt of #BreonnaTaylor), Jacob Blake, Sr. (father of Jacob Blake), Cortez Rice (father of #JahmariRice) and activist Michael “Pressure” Harris were protesting in the name of #JaylandWalker, Akron police viciously beat Michael and Jacob, pepper-sprayed all of them, and threw them in jail…Jacob was hospitalized for two days as a result. Your calls helped to get them released. Thank you.

  • Last Saturday’s This Is Not a Drill! marked 1-year of revolutionary radio programming with the KBLA Talk 1580AM family. It was an important discussion on reproductive justice, hosted by Sister Melina Abdullah, with Kim Holmes co-hosting, and Thandiwe Abdullah, Rosa Clemente, and Cazembe Jackson as guests. For our #MoreThanAHashtag segment, we spoke with the family of #SkyYoung. Missed it? Watch here.
