The Assassination of Christopher Deandre Mitchell

Today shamed District Attorney Jackie Lacey proved, once again, why she must go.

She officially issued her decision not to prosecute the Torrance police officers who murdered #ChristopherDeAndreMitchell on December 9, 2018 within 15 seconds of approaching his vehicle.

As is her practice, she participated in the secondary murder of Christopher — the assassination of his character — regurgitating the police account, which claimed that he was "armed" with a toy gun.

Since the time of his murder, we have been standing with the family demanding the release of the names of the officers. The City of Torrance refused claiming that there are credible threats on the lives of the officers. (There weren't.) Today, with the report we also learned that they were hiding the names of the officers because both cops have killed people in the past.

Torrance officers Anthony Chavez and Matthew Concannon must be held accountable in the murder of #ChristopherDeAndreMitchell.
