Anniversary of Protest to Oust Corrupt District Attorney Makes An Impact #ByeJackie2020

For two years, Black Lives Matter has been protesting in front of the office of Los Angeles County district attorney Jackie Lacey. During her time in office, more than 550 people have been murdered by law enforcement, some of which were deemed out of policy by civilian oversight committees. Lacey has done virtually nothing to send law enforcement the message that they should murdering the citizens they’re charged with protecting.

The commemoration of two years of protest made local news as Lacey works towards campaigning for re-election. The message from BLMLA is clear: Jackie Lacey must go!
